Welcome to Your Health

“Embrace each challenge in your life as an opportunity for self-transformation.” Dr. Bernie Siegel

As women over 45, I think we all need a support group of like-minded people we can lean on. Especially when it comes to our health and well-being. My goal as a health coach of women over 40 is to provide a safe space to share their (your) wellness goals and be a guide on the journey to finding their authentic selves.

As a certified women’s health coach, I offer clients 1:1 sessions and wellness programs to help achieve their goals. Together, we co-create completely personalized actions based on your goals to move toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and resources.  I believe health and wellness go beyond just food. Are you struggling with stress? Do you have unknown anxiety? I help get to the real reason you might be experiencing ailments by listening, first and foremost, in our sessions.

Not long ago, I was an international speaker, marine biologist and advocate for environmental health — heavily invested in how the effects of our food choices have direct impact to our planet and our bodies. Feeling I could do more, I started my journey toward serving others in health in 2016 by becoming a certified yoga instructor.  A thousand teaching and training hours later (and a Yoga Veda Facilitator credential in Ayurveda sciences), I married my Yoga, Ayurveda, Biology and Communications backgrounds and became a certified Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in 2019.

But my passion for wellness and nutrition as medicine started way earlier. Through my own health challenges, I discovered in 2013 that my body didn’t like the way I was living — I got cancer. So I cut it out of my life (literally) and didn’t look back.

That kick-started my passion for discovering how nutrition can heal our bodies and how being strong mentally, physically, and emotionally leads to feeling whole in all aspects of your life. It’s an ongoing journey. I believe in bio individuality, so what works for me may not work for you, and vice versa.

I take a holistic approach to wellness and each health coaching session will leave you feeling inspired and motivated. We will talk about things beyond food, creating balance in important life aspects such as relationships, career and money. I will personally and carefully guide you toward simple, small changes that transform your life. Because I believe building a sense of trust and respect is important, the majority of my work happens during one-on-one sessions.

Working together will feel like a conversation with your favorite sister or friend. I’ll give you tips along the way to help achieve your goals and truly listen during each of our sessions to get to the bottom of your challenges. I’ll recommend tactics, actions and strategies you can implement at home to get where you want to be.

I use innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and principles from over 100 dietary theories – Ayurveda, gluten-free, Paleo, raw, vegan, macrobiotics, and everything in between. IIN taught me to start at the very nature of human beings to help heal and nourish women's bodies.

I help my clients with myriad of goals including, but not limited to:

  • Lose weight

  • Gain confidence in themselves

  • Love their body (again, or for the very first time)

  • Incorporate more movement into their daily lives

  • Reduce stress

  • Much, much more

I typically offer 6-month and year-long programs where we meet bi-monthly to work on your goals. Each session is 50 minutes, in person at an agreed upon location or currently over Zoom.

If you’re interested in something different, let’s talk! I work with many clients on personalized programs based on their specific time constraints and needs.

My IIN education equipped me with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and prevention. Drawing on that expertise, my health coaching clients begin to see the lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, improving your energy, balance, health, and happiness.  But I am just your guide and accountability partner, this is your life’s fantastic journey!
